but all we see is far in the past… we cant see the actual universe… also, what is causing the moon to leave and kill us due to changing the climate? anybody have a real intelligent answer? not an obvious smartass idiot reply?
@akpcSAIN Im pretty sure its cosmological constant aka vacuum energy that causes the universe to expand. The dark energy is simply what accounts for the fact that galaxies hold themselves together. From the mass we can measure they should fly apart so there must be some unseen mass that holds them together and there must be a lot of it. Thats dark matter.
This was a very interesting video. And I have a few questions.
What evidence is there that actually links dark energy and the apparent acceleration of space expansion? The “gravity” causing deceleration of space expansion also wasn’t clearly stated. And how do you propose that dark energy causes the acceleration of space expansion?
Lastly, is there some relationship between matter and anti matter (which may or may not be dark matter) that fixes galaxies to space whilst it expands?
Agreed.

No, it doesn’t. Why don’t you just watch the video?
does this have anything to do with the moon leaving its orbit?
what about microphone feedback theory?

AYE WUSS A MACBOOK PRO DOIN IN DIS VID? PC>>>>>>>>>>>>MAc
I love that UC posts this stuff. I hope it continues forever
“The Inflationary Universe” by Alan Guth is quite comprehensive, but contains little in the way of revelation.
What book would you recommend to learn more about these latest revelations about the Dark Energy?
Would it not be amazingly terrifying to have evolved at the time right as the 2nd universe was about to completely collapse? Wow… And there would be nothing all your neighboring galaxies (all really near by now) could do anything to stop the eventual singularity of all the creations in the universe. Complete genocide of all life in the known universe.
Wow…just watching your worlds eventual doom everyday helpless.
I’ve seen multiple people claim and/or imply that they discovered the “acceleration” of the universe, one is that guy who appears on every single documentary and has a goofy smile on all the time… in this video the second presenter said that “Saul” was the discoverer… hmm… wikipedia doesn’t really mention who in fact discovered it… would be nice to know… or they should mention the team of people…seems like a lot of people discovered it (or are taking credit for it)
